An amazing six-band, six track compilation released to raise awareness and
benefit the Punk Illegal and No One is Illegal Network (“Ingen människa är
illegal”)—an organization supporting refugees and supporting a world without
borders in Sweden. 
This 7” EP features exclusive tracks from some of the
heavy hitters of the current Swedish Punk scene—MEANWHILE (here with an
absolutely scathing cover of RIISTEYT), KVOTERINGEN with a blasting track of
blown out thrash, a total detonating punk charge from VICTIMS and a
surprising cover of an 1970s pop rock Albert Hammond song that was reworked
to be a Swedish radio hit by native crooner Lalla Hansson and then is
reinterpreted here with gusto, vigor and fire by ASTA KASK. 
There are great tracks from Vienna’s DEMENZIA KOLEKTIVA—a pop flavored punker with female vocals, and ALERT! ALERT!—distorted noise, echoing vocalled hardcore from
Poland. 
A great EP with an excellent cover by Crash Mange for a great cause!

I samarbete med Punk Illegal och nätverket Ingen Människa Är Illegal släpper kvalitativa uppstickaren Denihil Records en välgörenhetssjutummare till förmån för gömda flyktingar. Ett gott syfte som jag helt ställer mig bakom och totalt sex låtar som jag inte heller backar från.

På A-sidan är det banden Victims, Kvoteringen och Demenzia Kolektiva och sida B bjussar på Meanwhile, Alert! Alert! Samt Asta Kask som avslutning. Bra grejer alltihop även om hjärtat bultar lite extra för ständigt vassa Kvoteringen och såklart Asta Kask som för det mesta håller en väldigt hög kvalitet.
Givetvis ett nästintill tvunget köp både för den goda musiken och den goda sakens skull.

Sommarens viktigaste EP släpptes nog av De:Nihil Records, som på kort tid har blivit fullfjädrade veteraner på bolagsscenen med tanke på hur frekvent de spottar ur sig skivor. Och det är inte vilka skivor som helst! Illegal By Choice är en stöd-EP för organisationen Ingen Människa Är Illegal (IMÄI), och som om inte det vore köpskäl nog, så är de involverade banden löjligt bra!

Vad sägs om helt nya låtar med inga mindre än Victims, Kvoteringen, Asta Kask, Meanwhile, Demenzia Kollektiva och Alert! Alert!? Jag tänkte väl det! 

Victims inleder med låten Trapped, som i sann Victims-anda d-taktar sönder allt i sin väg. Därefter kängar Kvoteringen vidare med Du kan inte vinna, och skitigare än så här blir det bara inte, vilket i sin tur gör att Demenzia Kollektivas mer melodiska spår Odio välkomnas mycket varmt. 

Meanwhile ger sig i kast med Riistetyts Totuus esiin, och får mig att vilja gräva fram alla tänkbara Meanwhile-skivor direkt. Avslutningsvis bjuder polska Alert! Alert! på halvtråkig anarkocrust, medan Asta Kask kör en cover på Lalla Hanssons Han gav upp alltihopa.

All som allt så är den här plattan ett måste, oavsett om du gillar punk eller inte!
