From the blackened mines of Bergslagen and rising from the ashes of the now‑defunct band Maniak, Sweden's ZADISM emerge as an unholy force bent on obliterating restraint.

Guided by the spirit of the early Brazilian underground (you know the ones - disfigured riffs, filthy production, uncompromising aggression) and the savage blueprint laid down by the German thrash metal pioneers at the dawn of the scene, this duo brings a sound steeped in raw violence and fury.

Their debut EP “Under Sadistic Law”, out late November via De:Nihil Records and Dala Destroi Records, is a concentrated dose of extremity: short, brutal and unrelenting. ZADISM don’t just honor the relics of the past: they inject them with fresh, virulent energy and drag them screaming into the present.

” Filmer För Blinda (Films for the blind) revolves around the phenomenon of being human - during one and the same day, we can be exposed to feelings of helplessness, joy, sadness, anger, fatigue, love, friendship and hatred. 

How do we handle it? How do we stay afloat? Some close their eyes, others confront it. Some booze their day away, others go to work. Some becomes right-wing, others renovate their balcony. 

But in the end, nothing really matters. It's movies for the blind.

- It has been important for us not to get stuck in the generic. Although we have taken every opportunity to place ourselves in the grindcore genre, we have always identified ourselves as a regular rock band. We quite often play a very fast form of rock music, but in the end it's completely normal rock we deal with. It also gives greater freedom in terms of lyrics. I want to be able to write about raw capitalism, but I also want to sing about fast cars and Torgny Lindgren, says Anders Schärberg, who plays guitar and sings in Järnbörd. ”

Update on no updates

Just a short one that De:Nihil Records is still alive. Eight releases so far 2024, might have even one more out before next year. 

Many plans but not much time to update this page. I keep on forgetting this page again and again to be honest.

Malmö’s death cult punks Flegma is back with a brand new album.

Expect an 11-track feast of old school-punk, metal & thrash.

Recorded by the gentlemen themselves in 2023.

Mixed by Mathias Färm (of Millencolin fame) at Soundlab Studios and mastered by Dr Dan Swanö at Unisound.

Since forming in 1987, Flegma may have undergone a few changes to their line-up and sound, but, that doesn’t stop them from kicking listeners in the teeth with a deadly style all their own in 2024!

Dead Angels Abyss (De:Nihil Records - NIHIL053) is a tight, gnarly Iron Fist with Malmö Crime City fuck-you attitude.

Driver is Lanchy’s (Totalitär, Brainbombs, etc.) punk rock solo project, started in 1994.

April 2022 Update

Yeah it's been a while since last update here as I tend to forget this page all the time. Sorry!

I guess most of you have some sort of social media or word-of-mouth news feed and found info there.

Since last releases like Franky Lee, Merger Remnant, Genocide Super Stars, Sweet Teeth and Agoni came out. I still have a few left of most of those so check out the online store HERE and bookmark it in your browser.

At pressing right now is Tyrant "Reclaim The Flame" 15yr anniversary edition which I'm putting out with my great friend Gus of Tvåtakt Records. Record is a beast and sounds better than ever as we got a new mastering and just approved the test press. Check out (the old mastering) of the album further down for a taste.

I also have a few other releases at pressing at this moment but more about those soon.

Agoni sold out right away and will be repressed asap. Super stoked that I got the trust to release their "demography" as I've been listening to them since the late 80's. Thanks a ton to all involved in the release and for all the kind words about it.

I'm just gonna keep on packing records and find new exiting stuff to work on!
